We follow Energy Australia recommendations of a minimum of every two years to service your appliance.
Yes, 3 months from the service date.
A yellow flame indicates incomplete combustion of gas generally due to a blocked venturi and strongly recommend a service call to rectify to avoid Carbon Monoxide production, sooting and breakdown of the unit.
Carbon Monoxide is Odourless/non-visable so hard to detect. If you suspect your appliance is leaking Carbon Monoxide, you should turn your appliance off, ensure it is not in use and you should book a service call immediately. Our qualified technicians will use a calibrated Carbon Monoxide detector to measure the emissions. If your unit is found to be leaking Carbon Monoxide above the Australian Gas Regulations, your unit will be cut off for safety.
