Green Energy

Solar hot water systems take advantage of Australia’s supply of sunshine and use solar energy to heat water for household use. A solar hot water system should provide between 50 and 90% of your hot water needs

Rebates Available

If you install a solar hot water system at home, you could be eligible to receive renewable power incentives in the form of Small-scale technology certificates (STCs). An STC is a measure of renewable energy which can be traded for cash or a discount on the purchase price of a hot water system.

A solar close coupled system is where the storage tank and the solar collectors are coupled together and installed on the roof.

Flat Plate Solar Systems consist of a ground mounted storage tank that is installed separately to the collectors mounted on the roof. A small pump circulates the water from the cylinder through to the collectors to absorb the maximum available solar energy.
